Gymnopedie

Oh how I love sharing beautiful things with you! Here I am to share a gorgeous piece of music. Les Gymnopédies are three works by French composer Erik Satie, published in Paris in 1888.

Crossing the Pont Saint-Louis is often all one has to do to find beautiful live music in Paris. I had stopped to listen to the previous piece this talented pianist performed and was walking away - like the gentleman that you see sit down just as the piece starts - when the pianist started playing this piece. Both said gentleman and I immediately turned back to listen, and both of us were very glad we had. Enjoy.
